Questionable Freshness
I'm sure nobody will want to buy a not fresh veggie/fruit/watever; just like I'm less interested in a not so fresh face/personality competing on tv once again. Not that I don't like him anymore, it's just that the feeling of freshness is gone, and so is the excitement of wanting to know more about him. He participated the chn u's "全民偶像星登场" and I rooted for him from the very beginning... simply becoz 1) his height is 1.8m, 2) he looks like zaizai and 3-10) he looks like zaizai haha. No lah... I'm not so superficial. He sings vv well too (if my memory didn't fail me). I still remember that one of the songs he sang was Z Chen's "May I Love U" and on another occasion (or the same occasion) he sang with a guitar. I remember him as a bashful, softspoken kind of a guy (which is vv similar to zaizai~) but with less sadness and more boy-like kind of shyness. Hmmm wonder how much he has changed? We shall see it this coming wednesday... Ohya. Another reason why he attracts me is that he's from LaSalle?! Kind of lame for a reason huh... but think it really played a small part ba. Arty-farty, musical incline and all; it's like a bonus point :D He is xie wei cong and quan yi fong liked him a lot ever since "全民" and it seems that the affection has 延续ed wor heh heh. I love project superstar~ it has made my life so much more 八卦! *chants for the arrival of wed's PS MALE's competition*

绝对Super Star, 绝对Shanyi's Star~
Well, I'm showcasing my fav/caught-my-attention 6 guys from project superstar, and take note k: ONLY guys~ haha not really interested in the girls... see when I 心血来潮 den i will comment on how I feel towards the girls. But for now, really, who cares (abt the girls)?
I like him~ he's totally cute when he smiles/grins coz he has got kawaii teeth~ but i think he's obsessed with his nose?! (coz in the introductory clip he kept commenting he has got nice nose that makes him like a superstar...haha) he sang "forever love" in the quarters and for those who missed his performance, u can click on the link to see and hear him sing~ M2 lin yu zhi - "forever love"
He looks like the kind of guy u'll get for a neighbour. ???? type. BUT he sings superbly well. He's M3 hong jun yang. Click here to hear and see him sing JJ's "jiang nan". My feelings for him: a honest and good boy. Can target those aunties haha.
M5 tan wei lian. I agree with the judges that he didnt sound as good as before. nervous? or is it becoz he felt lost on the stage without his guitar/keyboard?? I also dunno leh... but the way he sings really touches my heart. LOVE his "huo cai tian tang" and the other song (not "I believe"), the one that he sang in audition round 3. Can't wait to hear him sing again~~~ Here's his "I believe"
Woooo~ another cute guy~! hoh wei jian~ i dig his smile too~ (same as yu zhi got cute teeth) think he not only has got cute looks, he has a fun personality too... (woman's instinct?) He got the award "most friendly contestant", this only further proves my point haha. A bit too skinny though. Remeber to eat more wor~ and hope he will do well next week! VOTE for him!
Hohoho... the 3rd guy with kawaii teeth~~~ he looks grt in this photo (i think la). And his audition song (tao ze's) really left a wonderful impression. I think his cute type is "charmingly cute", while yu zhi is "yo yo cute" and wei jian is "boy boy cute". Just my 2 cents worth?! Anyways, I think he will make it far in this competition. :D Ohya he's tan william tanoto a.k.a. yao rong (chinese name). The "tanoto" is due to the fact that he's an Indo Chinese.

According to his mum "我真的很喜欢他这张脸。很庆幸我把他生得这么好看！" and take note that she's really proud/serious when she said this, maciam like 在向她的儿子告白 and thinking if only she was 20 years younger and that he's not her son, she would have chase after him like that... ME to mother: eh aunty ah. 好看 not everything hor... must sing well too. and hor, when a superstar speaks, must have a certain standard/intelligence one. cannot sound like a ah beng leh. (hopefully he won't sound like one coz I like his face too!) opps... Ohya! I think he looks like a friend of mine, kailian. But she's a girl... since they are of different gender, I can only say that he can definitely pass off as her bro

Mr. and Mrs. Tarik
In accordance to the now showing totally scandal-UN-free movie, I present to you, not Mr. and Mrs. Smith, but Mr. and Mrs. Tarik~ Ah? No, no… Singapore idol talfik’s not married… It’s TARIK… I’m sure you know… the stall owner will use 2 tin containers and pour the coffee/tea from one to the other and back to the first then to the other again… *repeat a few times*
This kind of brewing skill is most famous for its “teh” (milk tea), and therefore the term: teh tarik. Copi tarik sounds weird huh… so for this entry, I shall showcase, *drum rolls * Mr. Teh Tarik Pte Ltd! This stall is situated in Far East Square near the raffles place mrt station. Although there are many many many other eateries around there, you cannot possibly miss this stall. It has this big big umbrella in green, whose main purpose is of coz to shelter the people who came here to la copi/teh. But lo and behold, it has “Mr. Teh Tarik Pte Ltd” sprawled across the big big umbrella in caps! Haha… no way you can miss it sia. Go there during lunch time, and you’ll witness a phenomenon.
Anyway, Mr. and Mrs. Smith is a movie worthy of our $9.50, or so I think lah. In the end it’s still up to u…. reasons that u shld watch - it’s funnily swt, poking fun at married life haha plus action AND handsome Brad Pitt of coz. Dun like AJ, her lips sucks, though she has got nice eyes…. But the last gun scene was a bit of a letdown; thought it’ll last longer and that either one will die/die together, or at least suffer heavy injuries. Anyways, watch it~

I'm always ready to lend my third hand, not theft hands ("di san zhi shou"), but a helping hand to those that need help. :D

LEGO
Since im going to be stuck in Singapore for probably quite some time, I’ve decided to let my imagination fly and let LEGO take me around the world in, eh, not 80 days but a few minutes haha. Apus 03/04 la, Apus 04/05 and the coming Apus 05/06 :D And when suddenly Edwin left us (leave hall 14 la… not… the other meaning) I was like woah~ and go woah! So fast graduate alr… I hope I can graduate by this time next year too. *prays*
The games that created the “hoo-haa” all over hall 14 are gunbound, maplestory and warcraft (anything else?)… While the anime-s that took over our hall are POT, inuyasha, naruto and bleach~! Then occasionally we will be involved in some illegal Chinese scrabble haha… Loved watching “任我遨游” and“荷兰村” with the hall girls (and some guys) and also American Idol/Amazing Race with another group of hall ppl :D
Oh ya… me and rs got a bad habit. Super environmental Unfriendly… we like to takeaway back to our own room and eat. Why ah? Hmmm… call us lazy or call us 自闭, but we enjoy eating in the comfort of our own room.
There’s a million and one things that I can talk about hall 14 ba… coz alr reside there for around 2 years le mah… but like I said, not much 灵感 leh. Here’s the ending: 她们从此过着幸福快乐的日子。

S.H.I.O.K.
After spending a few days over at the client company’s HR Department, I really think that it is super S.H.I.O.K. to be a HR personnel.
S for superwoman. They are really the ultimate grapevines lor, they seem to know every single employee of the company… and that’s not all! I asked the HR girl about an event that happened in nov 04. She took just one look at the personal file of that employee and immediately said “ahhh! This guy’s a transfer from one company to ours… but still under the company group so…” furthermore, after spending a few days in the HR room with them, they really manage a lot of reports… small fries find them for taxi, medical, OT, etc claims while they go find directors and HODs for signatures.
H for happening. Every now and then there will be ppl dropping in to talk cock or claim something or discuss about anything (like songs la, movies la, why she should get a 4GB mp3 player instead of thumb drive la, where to go park tor la, etc.)
I for ideal-for-those-who-like-to-talk-on-phone. Why? Coz the phones in the HR room ring once every 3 minutes. All sorts of ppl will call you (including me). banks enquiring about cheques, job applicants, ppl looking for your manager (who’s on leave at the moment), XX from the accounts dept, your lunch khakis, staff asking why their OT pay so low, boyfriend, mum, dad, haha… the list just goes on and on…
O for optimistic. Optimisticians are the only type of human beings that can survive in this HR business. Otherwise, you’ll suffer from depression and end up killing yourself. Whenever it’s near payday, you can expect ppl breathing down your neck, chasing you for reports, and you chasing directors for signatures… you can also expect piles of timecards, OT claim forms, receipts that come in all sizes, medical certificates, etc. So if you cannot multitask very well, you’ll find yourself in a deadlock situation… this is when people around you turn nasty and demand that you settle his/her matter first… how can everyone be the no. 1 in your to-do list?! At this moment you’ll have to make it up with optimisticism le lor.
K for “klkk”. Dunno what is klkk? Hah, it means kia lai kia ke (walk here walk there in dialet). Definitely have to run around a lot… to find ppl, to pass things, to file things up, etc. Thus, the HR personnel won’t get fat easily for sure.
