What? Coffee Bean? Starbucks? TCC? Nah. I’m talking about not the West’s branded kind of coffee but the EAST’s – Ya Kun.
不要小看他们 k… they still got breakfast set meals one lor kekeke (eggs, bread n all…) some common terms I heard are “copi-o” “copi-si” “copi-beng” and normal “copi” and when u substitute all the “copi” with “teh”, u’ll get the tea family :D
Their bread toasts are really nice~ especially in the mornings before lunch and after breakfast that period when your stomach is growling. I’ve only tried their kaya toast thus far and think will venture to other types in the near future~
Although Ya Kun’s selling copi like those found in heartland normal coffee shops, their prices are double of the really traditional kind of copi, e.g. Ya Kun copi = S$1.10; normal copi = S$0.60. This only tells us one thing – brand matters.
