Pigs Can Fly, So...?
Nononono, i cannot fly for goodness sake... the thing is that i actually read newspapers for 2 consecutive days! What a record for me man, maybe i shld apply to get printed in the World Geekness Book of Records... ok not funny, anyways, here are some of the headlines that caught my eyes/i still remember that are worth mentioning:
Hime No More
Hime = Princess in the Japanese language. The 36 year old Princess Sayako just shed her royal rights and married a commoner. Not too common actually... he holds some post in the government. Guess how much was her dowry? S$2 million (from the Jap government) if im not suffering from amnesia... crazy sia... and her parents gave her other things too. If im her hubby i will be more than willing to marry her (ok i know im being mean here). But according to the report, the now Mrs Sayako instead of the Hime Sayako, had expressed long long time ago if she were to marry, she hoped her subject of interest will be someone who understand the royalties. Her hubby has been a friend of her second brother since young and had been visiting the palace on different occasions, so i guess this is a good match? Many best wishes to the newly weds then~

Dont understand the heading?? Then DO NOT call yourself a blogger (opps according to ms xx, not everyone who blogs = blogger since do u call a person who swims half a lap in the pool without drowning a swimmer?). Eh still clueless as to what im about to say? u caveman ah? Awww dont be sad... i didnt know much abt this till yesterday also la soooo i dont have the right to scold u too ^ ^
I didnt know how all these discussion started but our subject matter here was accused of undergoing plastic surgery to man-made her now-so-beautiful features, which according to my own taste of judging beauty she is just an uglier version of fioooona xie (im so scared of being sued nowadays). Den suddenly got other ppl accused ms xx of being jealous of the subject matter here... and the columnist of our lovely local newspaper TODAY representing the blogging community had to comment on this attack... still this is not the end!!! a forum that i've been regularly visiting had this thread about her too, under the "Talk Cock Sing Song" section haha... this proves that Singaporeans had nothing better to do? OR the media feels that these kind of news will capture the attention of public? i've got a hunch im 90% right on target. Coz i also blog abt this too (shit i hate to blend into the norm...).
Does this make me a bitch too? MAYBE. im proud of it~ come on! Dont call yourself a species of the female bred if you dont bitch ard. The very fact that u r reading this post till here proves the very existence of a bitchy personality in you (well, guys nowadays r getting bitchy too mind you, hah!). Oppsie, i sidetracked too much...
What is the world coming to? One implication that i learnt from this is that blogging is becoming a media type, a mainstream for the more educated ppl i guess... coz no matter how, all these are done in words? ok, not funny again. Blogging will be just like TV, radio, newspapers... it is like the baby of Internet, and it has done its parent proud for sure and will become more and more influential as it slowly evades the other medias...
OMG, a 15-year-old is Studying in NTU
Hell yes, stop rubbing your eyes! She's from Philippines, studying genetics in Sch of Bio Science. According to Nanyang Chronicle, she started to get interested in genetics when her friends comment she looks like a Chinese. As such, maybe i should drop accountancy too and join her in SBS to pursue the journey of genetics study? Since many of my friends said that I dont look like Chinese when im wholely, truely, inside out a pure Chinese. Oei... laugh leh.
Let's equate our age as a whole unit (a.k.a. 1). Eg, im 21 years old, if divide by 3, it'll be 7 years right? Right. Multiply by 2 and we'll get 14 years! Hola~ there you go~ this girl here (she's Athina btw) is 2/3 (roughly lah... i didnt fail my maths) of my age and YOURS (generally) too! And the difference of our age is equal to half of her lifetime she has been living up till now... feeling the impact now? haha... and im not surprise if she's still growing taller and in fact she has just entered into the category of a female-able-to-conceive-baby for a few years only lor, if u know what i mean XD and yet she's in the same institute as us!!! Try thinking back on what u were doing when you were at the age of 15? Sec 3 for most ppl... i was still chionging my ECAs, having crushes, stalking them, trying to think of ways to pass my NAFA, wearing the translucent uniform, etc... Kudos to this girl man.
